MFI.net is a full service internet company that
has been growing since 1995. We offer a large variety of dial-up
services including ISDN and DSL connections. We are also home
to a full service computer center and website development and
hosting department.
How
much does it cost?
Our most basic dial-up account starts at only $12.95 a month for

How
do I sign up?
Signing up is easy.
You can sign up online
or
call us at (352) 369-9900. You can choose to pay by credit card
(Visa and Mastercard), debit card or by check. You can also opt
to buy annually for additional savings.
Are
56K modems supported?
Yes. However, your actual connection speed may vary depending
on your phone lines.
Do
I get free web space to put up my own website?
Yes. All dial-up accounts get 6 Megabytes of space to use for
a personal website.
Can
I put up a business site on my free webspace?
No. Your free webspace
is for personal use only. If you need a business or e-commerce
site, we can provide web hosting and web development through our
sister company, Netsource Technologies.
What
type of computer do I need to surf the internet with MFI.net?
Any PC running Windows 3.1, Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows 2000,
Windows NT or a Macintosh running OS 7.5 or higher.
Which
browser should I use for surfing the internet with MFI.net?
Although we recommend
Microsoft's Internet Explorer, this or Netscape Navigator will
work. We do suggest using the latest versions of either browser
to assure you can view all the latest in online content (Internet
Explorer 5 and Netscape 4.7 respectively). We can provide Internet
Explorer 5 to our members free of charge.
Do
I get email with my dial-up account?
Yes. Every MFI.net dial-up account includes email accounts (the
amount depends on the plan). Extra email accounts are available
for only $2.00 per month.
How
can I protect my children from internet pornography, obscene language
and other internet evils?
With MFI.net's filtered access service
(starting at only $21.95 per month) you can protect your children
from illicit content on the internet.
What's
the difference between unlimited and dedicated access?
Dedicated access is "always on". Unlimited
access applies only when you are using the internet, not when
you are away from your computer. We consider any account with
more than 400 channel hours per month to be a dedicated account.
